My husband's parents have been long controlling my husband's life. While my husband and I were discussing getting a business loan from a bank to start his own business, particularly on a gym. His parents did not prove and looked into to buy a Chinese restaurant, because they have been Chinese restaurant business most of their life. This was the only way they would lend my husband money to start his own business, for there is no way we could have the savings to buy a business.
While I was out of town visiting my own parents a week earlier, my in-laws and husband together bought a Chinese restaurant. I even did not have any chance to look at the place to give my input. Of course, I am only a beginner in Feng Shui, and my input won't help much.
Today, I went to check the place out and took the readings. I FELT that part of the Feng Shui there was not good, for the location of the cash register without the support wall, bright intense blue bathroom, dark lighting, filthy everything, and broken stuff. I found it even worse just now the natal chart telling me the outlook of it.
The chart suggests the front part of the restaurant at N2, especially where the front door is, bearing misfortune. Both left NW and right NE sides at the front also suggest loss and danger. On the other hand, S is the lucky sector, and SW as well. Nevertheless, S is where the kitchen located, and SW the storage.
My husband has been disappointed for the first 2 days (the day before yesterday and yesterday) after he took over from the previous restaurant owner, because there has not been much business going. I told him to be positive, because cheerful energy brings good energy. After all, it is just the beginning. Also, usually at the beginning, it is hard to pick up the pace. I told him just to do whatever he has to do but not worry about the outcome yet. However, now, once I saw the chart, I don't know what I should tell him anymore. I know that it is not the end of the world, yet I can pretty much fix up broken stuff and make the place as clean as possible without changing or cure much of any bigger things. At the mean time, I am telling myself that Feng Shui works with psychological aspect too. I just need to keep in the bright side. My positive mind can change the flow of the energy; I truly believe that our minds can change the world around.
Other than the natal chart, I "think" the location of the building is good though. It's back is not sloping or anything. The front is flowing with traffic in a jade belt fashion. The left store is higher than the restaurant, so the green dragon is kind of present. The front is bright hall, pretty spacious as a parking lot... I guess that it is why the restaurant is still in business (since 2006. The entire building was built earlier, yet the interior renovation was done in 2006).
At this point, I don't know what else to do but writing this post to see if anyone can shed light with me.
By the way, the cash register is located right behind the wall where the double doors are. The cashier is facing towards the center of the restaurant, while his back towards a wall with a huge window. I am going to buy a blind to block the window.
