I understand that since a bathroom where a toilet is is the place that drains things away, it is a good location for a person's irritation, disaster, and death location of the 8 Mansions. Feng Shui symbols such as 5 element pagoda, crystals, and the sorts are supposed to HELP enhancing the energy in a location, especially if the location is good for prosperity, fame, health, and family. Since these Fen Shui symbols are supposed to HELP the energy, I heard NOT to use these symbols in a bathroom. They would help the negative energy. Even plants, which symbolize LIFE, would energize negative chi in the bathroom.

So.. as i gather the information, bathroom should not have any energizing element there. Instead, the element in the bath should be weakened. For instance, if the element of the bathroom direction in a house is earth, then use metal or wood to reduce the bad energy flow. But why people encourage to paint a bathroom red. Isn't red symbolizes passion and firing, uplifting and etc. why use red?
